Today, I got into a tiff in the train with this lady. I was leaning against the glass pillar next to the door since I boarded at City Hall. At Outram, this lady came in with her son. She stand next to me whereas her son was next to her.
At Tiong Bahru, her son, however stood approximately 15cm in front of me. Fine. When the train moved off, he conveniently stepped on my feet. I, of course, said, “Ouch, he stepped on my feet!” and the lady said, “It’s not his fault. The train is moving and it’s not your personal train.” I’m like, “There’s an empty space next to you why can’t he stand there instead?” and she blatantly replied, “Why don’t you stand there instead?” I told her I’ve been standing at that position even before she came in and she went on saying I was rude and she didn’t want to talk to me anymore. And while the train was still moving, her son leaned against me a few times.
My fault? Really?
